Traveling and teaching dance to young children in South Africa opened my eyes, mind and dancing heart. The experience forever changed my perception of what dance teaching and learning ought to be.
I now truly understand dance as a form of global communication and take seriously my approach to sharing dance education with others.
We all have knowledge that flows through us for the duration of our lives, but no knowledge is the same. To value and appreciate the interconnected anatomy of how knowledge is assumed, approached, learned, challenged, revisited, and redefined is a goal for the future of education.
